After a few years since her last scheduled visit, and entirely too long of a wait for a rescheduled date, it looks like Ilana Glazer is finally going to be able to bring her upbeat party attitude to Medford.
As announced earlier this week, the Broad City star will be bringing her latest hour of stand-up to Medford’s Chevalier Theatre as part of her ongoing tour on November 16. This trip to Medford will mark Glazer’s first stop at The Chevalier, making good on a 2020 cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic that was slated to bring her to town during her Horny 4 Tha Polls tour. Since the finale of the Comedy Central hit series Broad City, which ran for five critically acclaimed seasons between 2014 and 2019, Glazer has added onto her screen credits with roles in a number of television and movie projects, including the Green Eggs and Ham animated series on Netflix, The Afterparty on AppleTV+, and Hulu’s False Positive, which she also produced. She also released her debut stand-up special, The Planet Is Burning on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
The only thing better than a first time is a triumphant return, and that’s exactly what Ms. Pat is slated to have as she makes her way back to The Wilbur on February 24. In addition to her stand-up dates that routinely sell out all over the country and her first hour special Y’all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?, which premiered on Netflix in January 2022, the Atlanta native has also continued to bring her powerful comedic force to the airwaves with her wildly successful podcast The Patdown, and to the screen with her BET sitcom The Ms. Pat Show, which premiered its third season in February.
Additionally, Ashley Gavin has added a late show to her stop at The Wilbur on January 26, to compliment her sold out show earlier that night.
