Jared Freid is bringing some ‘Family Business’ home to The Wilbur

Via The Wilbur

You would think that after a number of trips back home to take the most storied comedy stage in the city, that Jared Freid would have everything squared away. As it turns out, though, he still has some family business to tend to.

As announced earlier this week, the Needham native is returning to The Wilbur once again in 2024, this time to close out his Family Business tour on February 23. As he premiered to make his way back home for a triumphant homestead, as always, Freid has continued to expand the reach of his fr base with every stand-up set and podcast he’s contributed to, including his wildly successful JTrain Podcast.

But before we look too far into the future, Annie Rauwerda brings us into The Depths of Wikipedia, as she sets up shop with a live edition of her wildly entertaining social media endeavor of the same name at The Wilbur on November 30. Since starting the account in 2020, Rauwerda has amassed an audience of over 1.2 million followers. As well, Vir Das has announced his return to The Wilbur, bringing his Mind Fool tour to town on January 13. Since his last trip to Tremont Street in 2021, which resulted in a sold out stop, Das has continued his ascension in the comedy realm after having released his latest special, Landing, in 2022.

Outside of the co gives of Boston, Jake Nordwind takes the stage at Medford’s Deep Cuts on September 23. Before his current gig as a writer for Saturday Night Live, Nordwind’s comedic force was delivered through the animated Netflix series Captain Climax, and Will Arnett’s Your Daily Horoscope, in addition to sketch comedies from College Humor, stemming from his work with The Groundlings Sunday Company.

Additionally, Daniel Sloss has added a third show to his upcoming Wilbur run on October 8. Tickets for this show are on sale now.

All other shows listed can be accessed via presale starting today (July 13) by using the code VANYA, before Freid, Das, and Rauwerda hit public on-sale on Friday (July 14) at 10 a.m., and Nordwind goes on sale a bit later at noon ET.
