The Breeders, September 24
It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the 20th anniversary of Last Splash. But time slams down like a “Divine Hammer into a “Cannonball”, and here we are a decade later raising a glass to The Breeders‘ iconic alt-rock album with a remastered re-issue and 30th anniversary tour that touches down at Citizens House of Blues on September 24 and showcases Last Splash in full. The restoration of the record’s original analog tapes unearthed two unreleased tracks, and the band — Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson — have shared one of those below in “Go Man Go.” Hear it below via the brand-new video, directed by Brandon Weaver of Ironwing Studios. Tickets go on sale Friday (June 30) at 10 a.m. local time.
