Liz Phair’s classic debut album Exile In Guyville turns 30 next month — June 22 to be exact — and so it’s no surprise we’ll be getting an anniversary tour later this year. The 18-track double album, “loosely framed as a song-by-song reply to The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main St.,” according to Matador Records, will get the 30th anniversary tour treatment come autumn as Phair and her band hit the road for 18 dates, playing the album in full alongside other hits from her extensive catalog. To make things even sweeter, Phair has tapped Vanyaland fave Blondshell as support for all the show, including a November 21 romp at Boston’s Roadrunner.
