Cannons, Heartbeat Highway Tour, September 8
There’s no stopping Cannons. The Los Angeles alternative trio broke through in 2020 when their mega-jam “Fire For You” was featured in Mindy Kaling’s Netflix comedy Never Have I Ever, and they haven’t looked back since. Now Cannons have unveiled the Heartbeat Highway Tour, which comes to Citizens House of Blues on September 8. The tour announcement comes after Michelle Joy and the boys played both weekends of Coachella, and made their TV debut by appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. A new album, Heartbeat Highway, is forthcoming, and it’s the follow-up to last year’s Fever Dream. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 5) at 10 a.m. local time.
King Krule, Space Heavy Tour, July 23
It’s been nearly six years (!!!) since we snapped his 2017 show at The Paradise, but King Krule has been plenty busy since. The project from English singer-songwriter Archy Marshall dropped Man Alive! in 2020 just before the pandemic hit, and now preps a new record called Space Heavy set for June 9 via Matador. Shortly after, King Krule hit the road for a summer tour that crashes Citizens House of Blues on July 23. Space Heavy was announced with lead single “Seaforth,” and the batch of happy pups in the video will certainly help us get through the day. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 5) at 10 a.m. local time.
Annie Brobst, Fenway Park Post Show, June 23
Performing live at Citizens House of Blues. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 5) at 10 a.m. local time.
