White Reaper show us their riffs on the hypnotic ‘Pink Slip’

We’re total whores for White Reaper, so here’s a fun thing to look forward to: The Louisville power-pop dynamo release their new record Asking For a Ride later this month, hitting shelves n’ streams on January 27 via Elektra Entertainment. But we don’t have to solemnly stargaze through the month to get the juices that move us, as the band have today (January 3) spiced up our New Year with a hypnotic ripper of a new tune called “Pink Slip.” The fiery track follows October’s “Pages” and last month’s “Fog Machine,” and sets another electric tone for the forthcoming record. “We ask ourselves: ‘Does it sound good when we play it in the room together?’ And if it does, those are the songs we want to pursue,” says guitarist/vocalist Tony Esposito. We’re sure it sounds pretty fucking good in a live setting as well, and White Reaper will be sassing up the early stages of 2023 with a headlining North American tour. It hits Royale in Boston on March 19. Crank “Pink Slip” below and consume all the live dates after the Spotify jump.
