We’ve had a relatively unexpected uptick in Placebo vibes in our lives this year, mostly on the strength of a fantastic March album in Never Let Me Go (we hyped the stirring “Beautiful James” and the purring “Surrounded By Spies” when they dropped in late ’21), a spark-sexy cover of Tears For Fears’ “Shout”, and a proposed North American tour in September that was postponed due to “unprecedented visa and logistical issues beyond [their] control.”
The run of dates along our stubborn shores were just postponed and not cancelled, always important to always clarify, and now we have the new dates. As a bonus, this run includes a Boston show — April 30 at Roadrunner in Brighton — where the previous itinerary did not. So really, it all works out if you pray hard enough to the altar of Molko.
Tickets to the new shows down below go on sale November 4, and tickets for all previous dates are still valid, except in Vancouver. It’s probably the Canucks fault. Peep the dates below, and stock up on liquid eyeliner between now and later.
