We’re fully aware we have yet to cross Halloween on the calendar, but suddenly we’re in the holiday spirit with eyes cast ahead. And that’s because this lovely fundraiser show was announced for December 16 at The Burren in Somerville — and if we waited until then to cover it and spread the word, chances are it’ll be very sold out. The night is dubbed A Very FUNdraising XMAS, and is designed to raise money for the National Network of Abortion Funds. The ’90s alt-rock-flavored bill is quite solid: Buffalo Tom, Mary Lou Lord, The Bags, members of Fuzzy, Merrie Amsterburg, Scruffy The Cat and others coming together for an important cause and playing holiday tunes and classic originals.
