Ryan Hamilton brings a bright, shining smile back to The Wilbur

He may not be a technical native of the area, but Ryan Hamilton’s stand-up roots are still as Bostonian as they come. And while we have to wait a bit, he’s already planning his return to the city to show the local comedy crowd some pre-Valentine’s Day love.

As announced earlier this week, the infectiously bubbly stand-up comedian will be bringing his latest hour to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on February 11. It’ll be his second time taming the legendary Tremont Street beast and his first trip back to a Boston comedy stage since that milestone night in 2019, where he flaunted the follow-up hour to his highly-successful debut special Happy Face, which premiered for Netflix in 2017.

Hamilton has certainly been fairly quiet over the past few years, which is just another reason why this visit from the Idaho native will be one welcomed with open arms reminiscent of the embrace of a long-lost friend, but before the pandemic slowed everything down, Hamilton racked up the screen and stage time with sets on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, as well as the opening slot for the legendary Jerry Seinfeld’s 2019 live tour.

Tickets for this show are on sale via presale today (September 22) at 10 a.m. ET, and can be accessed using the code VANYA.
