Tour posters are forever one of our most favorite things, but every now and then one comes along that just nails everything. You know the kind, the type that’s too good for tape or thumb tacks and needs to be framed; the type that must be owned even if you didn’t go to any of the shows it lists; the type that is just so damn great you openly wonder if the closest museum has any space left on its walls.

That’s the way we’re feeling with this new Dinosaur Jr. fall tour poster, which “Mr. Autumn Man Walking Down Street With Cup Of Coffee, Wearing Sweater Over Plaid Collared Shirt” from that Onion article just joined us in losing his fucking mind over. It was designed by Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Co., screen printed by Austin’s Feels So Good, and it’s just perfect.

The colors. The leaves. The crisp autumn warmth of Dinosaur Jr.’s bucolic Western Massachusetts. Oh yeah, and J Mascis and Lou Barlow shredding on some rakes in a great big pile of leaves while Murph tears it up with hedge clippers.

The posters are limited to 550, and will be sold at the merch table at shows, according to Draplin. And they may be available to those outside the tour routing. “We’ll have a stash for sale once the tour gets rolling, so stay tuned for an announcement soon on our @draplin Instagram,” he writes.

The Dinosaur Jr. tour kicks off Friday in Ithaca, and wraps October 2 in Columbus. Make a mad dash to the merch table at every show.
