Any time Tom Papa makes his way back to the area, it’s bound to be a great time. But as the bread-baking comedy vet returns for a night in Boston this time around, he’s raising the bar with quite the night prepared.

As announced earlier this week, Papa is setting up shop at The Wilbur Theatre for two shows on October 1 for a night jam-packed with his latest batch of comedy force, dubbed What a Day! Additionally, to sweeten the deal even further, he’s chosen the evening’s setting as the space to film to his next Netflix special.

The eventual final product will not only tally Papa’s second exclusive special for Netflix, and his sixth overall, following his 2020 Netflix hour You’re Doing Great!, but in regards to The Wilbur’s stats, it will mark the 32nd comedy special to be filmed at the famed Tremont Street venue.

Aside from his upbeat stand-up career that has sold out theaters and clubs all over the country for more than 20 years, the comic and author is also the host of a podcast, Breaking Bread with Tom Papa.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are already on sale, while tickets for the 9:45 p.m. show can be accessed now via presale by using the code VANYA before they are released to public on-sale on Friday (August 12) at 10 a.m. ET.
