Although a historic hometown show creeps closer, Bill Burr is taking a quick detour into the desert to air out his latest cavalcade of comedically-channeled rage and frustration.
Following the announcement earlier this week that Burr’s fifth Netflix stand-up special, Live at Red Rocks will be premiering on the streaming site next Tuesday (July 12), there wasn’t much of a whiff of what we could expect from the historically fiery Canton native — until now. With his latest batch of material, as you can see in the official trailer that dropped today (July 8), Burr continues on his path to becoming a better person, while balancing fatherhood and still processing the frustrations and absurdities he observes around him with that signature piss-and-vinegar approach that has brough him into the upper echelon of modern comedy.
Holding court at the legendary venue, Burr keeps no topic sacred as he shares an “inspirational” talk for women, how doing mushrooms has changed him, being able to find common ground with lesbians, and as you can see in the trailer below, just how his four-year old daughter continues to help him with his anger management.
Check out the full trailer below, and keep counting down to his headlining appearance at Fenway Park on August 21.
