Tim Heidecker brings a two-headed comedy experience to The Wilbur

Via The Wilbur

A Tim Heidecker show is more than just a show. It’s an all-around experience with a hefty dose of comedic razzle dazzle, and he’s preparing double the dosage for us this summer.

Wielding the double-barrel action of his deliciously awkward, zany comedy and insightfully deep music, Heidecker brings his two-part “No Bullshit Live/Tim Heidecker & The Very Good Band” tour to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on July 27. If the name of the tour didn’t give it away, the outing will find Heidecker meshing the creative forces behind his latest comedy special An Evening With Tim Heidecker, as well as his delightfully sincere 2020 album Fear Of Death and his newly-announced upcoming album High School, which is slated for a June 24 release.

Also making his way to The Wilbur this year is every nonsense heckler’s favorite comedian, Steve Hofstetter, who will be bringing his brand of topical, personal, and all-around insightful comedy to Tremont Street on September 3. It’ll be his second chance at taking the stage at The Wilbur after moving his previously scheduled show last summer to The Chevalier in Medford in order to make room for John Mulaney’s record-setting run of shows.

Moving outside of the city limits, comedian and musician Stephen Lynch will be making his way to Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on May 19. With guitar in hand and a brand new slate of jokes on the brain, the comedy vet will be making his way back to the area for the first time since 2019 when he landed on The Wilbur in support of his latest album My Old Heart.

As you can tell, things will be kept blazing hot on the comedy front throughout the summer, and it will be much of the same come the colder days of November, as Tom Segura is setting up for a three-peat at Chevalier Theatre with a new 7 p.m. show added on November 19.

All shows listed can be accessed via presale today (April 13) by using the code VANYA, starting at noon EDT.
