Start the countdown: We’re 10 sleeps away from Valentine’s Day, which means a deluge of mushy, blushing new singles is due any minute now. But in recent years, the holiday’s meaning has shifted away from Cupid in favor self-care and confidence — which means Neemz’s video for “My Love” has arrived just in time.

The Boson artist dropped the retro found-footage-esque visual earlier this week (February 1), adding an intimate element to the track from her 2021 record It’s Above Me. “My Love” beams through its imagery, presenting a portrait of a thriving, undaunted woman who’s trying to “get right and keep on smiling.” “I just been silent / Tryna get right on my mileage / Changing my life / Change my body,” Neemz coos with ease.

“‘My Love’ embodies self-love, and falling in love with the present moment,” Neemz shared in the video’s description. “It’s important that we infuse positive energy and good intent into our daily lives and relationships. Living by this principle will help navigate us to greater heights in life! This year, the narrative is leading with light, focusing on wellness and committing to self-love, self-discipline, and self-care.”
