Back in the summer we hyped Public Order’s hard-charging indie rager “Feels Like Summer” as one of the season’s mightiest jams, championing the emerging Welsh trio as ones to watch based purely on their debut track alone. Since then, the tune has been picked up by EA Sports for FIFA 22’s annual tastemaker soundtrack, positioning the gents out on the pitch alongside such sonic titans as CHVRCHES, girl in red, Glass Animals, and plenty others.
Now armed with a song that feels like perfect match for FIFA 22, Public Order have dropped a visual for “Feels Like Summer” that strikes a mood no matter where the day falls on the calendar. The video, directed by Saorla Houston, takes us with the trio for some day-in-the-life action around their hometown of Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales.
“We’re absolutely buzzed to release this video, it’s basically just a little insight into our lives and what we get up to day to day,” the band say in a statement. “We had a great laugh filming it and hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. As far as FIFA goes, it’s been the best kick start to our journey we possibly could have asked for! It’s a game we’ve grown up with and adored most of our lives, so it’s a pleasure to be a part of it!”
