Photo Gallery: Bishop Briggs, Miya Folick, Jax Anderson live in Boston

Editor's Note: Sometimes a plan comes together, and it's beautiful to see. Last night at Boston's House of Blues, Bishop Briggs made no secret of her excitement and enthusiasm over her headlining status after years of being the opening act. And the British singer, songwriter, and musician born Sarah Grace McLaughlin earned every letter of her name appearing up top on the marquee. Briggs rolled into town previewing her forthcoming album Champion, out November 8, which includes a mad-stomp of a single called "Jekyll & Hide". Last night's show was a pure showcase of alt-pop in 2019, with Los Angeles' Miya Folick and Detroit's Jax Anderson setting the tone.
