Vanyaland the BMAs go Off The Record with Shallow Pools and CD Rose

Pools are essential to any summertime fun. So Vanyaland is here to give you a few splashy options on Friday, August 9.

That’s when this online music magazine teams up with the Boston Music Awards for our party as part of the summer-long Off The Record series, which brings our favorite bands poolside for a free, outdoor performance at Hojoko in the Fenway.

Representing Vanyaland will be Boston alt-rock trio Shallow Pools, a band that is no stranger to our publication, having hyped their blistering single “Sinking” last summer and recognized as a Studio 52 featured band back in May.

That’s right — Shallow Pools at a party poolside.

But that’s not all. In addition to Vanyaland enlisting a band, the BMAs are bringing in an artist to showcase as well, so the party will feature a set from rising alt-pop singer CD Rose.

Hit the Eventbrite link to RSVP, and listen to both Shallow Pools and CD Rose below. And see you by the pool.

Off The Record is powered by Campari, Aperol Spritz, Wild Turkey, Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum, Appleton Estate, Espolòn Tequila.
