Editor’s Note: Earlier this year we learned of a joint tour featuring two of our favorite bands to cover and shoot, St. Louis indie dudes Foxing and Minnesota duo Now, Now, both in support of 2018 albums that filled our year-long playlists; for the former, it was the stellar, shifting Nearer My God, while the former dropped Saved, a slick record that served as Now, Now’s first effort in six years. We shot both bands around the time of their respective album releases — Now, Now in July and Foxing in September — but jumped at the chance to capture them paired together for this current North American tour. On Saturday night (April 27), the tour hit Royale, and Emily Gardner braved the Theatre District to secure some visuals, as well as some snaps of the night’s opener, Daddy Issues.
