Even on her newest release, one-time Hopkinton resident Sasha Sloan remains the “sad girl” she blossomed into at RCA Records last year. After dropping two EPs in 2018 — sad girl, and more recently, Loser — Sloan shared her video for last year’s track “Faking It” last week (January 7). Pairing an endless cycle of a remorseful relationship and sparse synth production, the likes of Sloan’s new material is as radio-ready — and Boston Calling ready — as ever.
