Year In ReView: Our favorite live music photographs of 2018

Vanyaland's year in photography -- from nightclubs and theaters to music festivals and ballparks, our team always gets the shot

Editor’s Note: One of the defining aspects of Vanyaland is the quality of our live music photography. In 2018 alone, we covered roughly 150 shows from Boston to Phoenix, capturing moods, moments, and the ability to tell a performer’s story in a single shot. Our photography team hustles like few others in town, and that’s on display through every morning-after gallery from last night’s gig, every concert recap that rolls 50-plus images deep, and every opening act that gets the camera’s attention like they were the headliner. Below is a selection of some our favorite shots of the past year — by no means is this a complete list; instead it’s just a collection of some of the images we felt not only told the story of a live performance, but reflected the attitude and approach of Vanyaland as a whole.
