If you haven’t heard of SHAED, you’ve likely heard “Trampoline,” the most popular song off their newest EP, Melt. The synth-y, dreamy tune was featured as the background of the new MacBook Air commercial, giving the D.C. trio a nice bit of national visibility. Enjoying a career boost from the coveted holiday spot (which was filled last year by tourmates Marian Hill), SHAED hit the road for an opening slot with ayokay’s "In The Shape of a Dream" tour. With just a few days left in this run, SHAED certainly have a lot to look forward to in 2019, including a short headlining tour. Despite technical difficulties in ayokay’s set, and SHAED vocalist Chelsea Lee’s vocally undetectable illness, the lineup wowed a sold-out Valley Bar in Phoenix with ease on Thursday night (December 6).
