Editor's Note: On a wild alt-pop Friday night (October 12) that found Florence + The Machine at TD Garden and Troye Sivan posted up at The Wang Theatre, it was Commonwealth Avenue throwing down its own entry for eyes and hearts as Years & Years packed out The Paradise Rock Club. Olly Alexander, decked out in a full fashion sleeve of fake flash tattoos, brought his crew into Boston on the strength of July album Palo Santo, and he and the dudes did not disappoint. Opening the show was Vanyaland fave CYN, who we've been hyping for some time and last month released one of the more moving videos of 2018 in "I'll Still Have Me".
