Billie Eilish emerges from her alt-pop throne live on 'Ellen'

Earlier this week Billie Eilish dropped a new visual for her dont smile at me closing track “Hostage”, but we’re still over here throbbing along to 2018 Song of the Year contender “you should see me in a crown”. Yesterday (October 10), the 16-year-old pop prodigy and likely future president dropped by Ellen DeGeneres’ Ellen to perform the track, making her daytime television debut in the process. DeGeneres’ called Eilish “one of the hottest names in music” and cited her ridiculous streaming numbers (currently racing toward the two billion mark), but that still might not have prepared viewers for what would go down. Eilish, rocking lime green with her name emblazoned from head to toe, emerged from a throne enclosed in a glass box with digital spiders at the ready. Eilish’s “1 By 1 Tour” starts later this month, and it arrives at a very sold out House of Blues in Boston come November 2. Show up in a crown.
