Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Earlier this week we announced our 2018 HalloVVeen party at Hojoko, set for October 31, with live performances by Trlogy and House of Harm and a closing DJ set from CLLCTV.
Today Trlogy released a new album.
You can see where we are going with this.
The Boston synthwave duo continue to peel back the shadows without ever losing their mystique, and now after two sterling pop noir singles that stand out in the city’s uneven electronic music scene have unleashed their debut album, The Ritual. It’s a fitting title, as the songs swirl in synths to an almost hypnotic effect; the vocals of Tanya dance like a calm wildfire as Lexx’s production cascades through mountains and valleys of darkened synths colored in mechanical shades of neon. It’s an LP that shines like the nighttime and yearns like the moonlight.
We’ve already hyped “Eternal Flame” and “Time Machine” on these digital pages, and The Ritual’s 12 tracks show there’s plenty more to get lost within. Upon multiple full listens this morning and afternoon, our current fave is “Haunted,” a dedicated stomper where heartbreak and bliss make out on a lonely park bench at the end of time.
Join us HalloVVeen night in the Fens. Because it might be enough to cancel November.
