Lawrence-based artist Wizz Dakota has slowly been sneaking his way up the ladder — all while pulling strings in his favor. Creating his own sound that’s impossible to replicate, Wizz has been busy creating records we all can vibe too, and his latest drops this week in “Swase II”.

Grasping the ears of the local clubs, natives, and radio stations is one aspect of Wizz that feels effortless, particularly through dancehall riddim vibe records like “Vibe With Me” and “You & I.” Aside from releasing hit singles, leading up to this point he also dropped an album Veintiseis (that’s “twenty-seven“) which poses as his first official project on all streaming services.

It didn’t take long for real to recognize real when hard work beats talent, especially when the talent doesn’t work hard. Known for staying in his lane and a repeated wave supplier, Wizz teams up with Tory Lanez for their newest effort, the aforementioned “Swase II.” Wizz, who is rumored to be within the inner circle of Lanez’ camp, thought it was only right for both them to stunt equally.

Slowly but surely, Massachusetts is on the rise with contenders in different genres of music. Sure enough, in that long line of artists, Wizz Dakota is not that far down the list. Kick off the weekend with “Swase II” below.
