Wicked Good Festival: Score the set times, enjoy a playlist

Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Last year Bleachers told us “Don’t Take The Money.” So WERS 88.9 FM, Emerson College, and a few sponsors and supporters all took that advice and teamed up for the inaugural Wicked Good Festival — a free music fest landing on Boston Common this August 18.

By now you know the details — it’s outdoors, it’s all ages, it starts at noon, and it features Bleachers, Buffalo Tom, Juliana Hatfield, Air Traffic Controller, and a pair of new homegrown additions in Anjimile and JahRiffe & Jah-N-I Roots Movement.

All we need now is the set times, and WERS is unveiling those this Saturday (July 28) via its mailing list. Sign up via the hyperlink, and you’ll be among the first to set your swatches… or smart phones… or Molnija pocket watch — whatever you use to make sure you’re out in a field at the right time with all your friends listening to awesome music.

And speaking of awesome music, we’ve whipped up a playlist highlighting all the performing artists, and you can fire that up via the Spotify player below. For late breaking news and updates leading up to Wicked Good, check in on the Facebook event page here.
