How long does Electric Light last? Hopefully well into next year, as far as James Bay is concerned.
The English singer-songwriter and guitarist has postponed his upcoming North American tour to 2019, and that means his planned September 26 show at the Pavilion in the Seaport will now go down March 10 at the Orpheum Theatre. The Boston gig is just one of 19 dates rescheduled for next year; see the full list below, but take note: Bay will still appear at this summer’s Lollapalooza in Chicago (August 3) and Montreal’s Osheaga (August 5).
Here’s word from the Bay-man himself: “It’s with regret that my forthcoming USA and Canadian Electric Light tour dates are rescheduled for next Spring. Please contact your point of purchase for more info. I’m truly sorry to all my fans. Thank you all for your overwhelming support and I can’t wait to be back with you soon x”
We’ll post ticket information for the new date and venue when it goes public. In the meantime, bask in the wondrous pop glory of Bay’s Electric Light, which dropped in May, below.
