Editor's Note: They say Saturday is always the juiciest day at Boston Calling Music Festival. We'll leave that type of declaration and proclamation to our very own Barry Thompson, but we can provide some compelling visual evidence to make the case. The middle slate at this year's fest at Harvard Athletic Complex featured a solid mix of star power and notable names, and both were on display on Boston Calling's Red Stage throughout the day -- from the rock confidence of Queens of the Stone Age to New England alt-rock come-backers Belly (listen to our interview with them here) to UK thunder slingers Royal Blood to Pennsylvania punks The Menzingers.
