Friday May 4, 2018, Boston, MA — The Boston Music Awards have today announced their live music residency at The Verb Hotel and Hojoko. In the shadows of Fenway Park, the 18 shows will see a number of music series take over the boutique hotel and Japanese tavern throughout the year.
Series highlights include:
dB from the Deep End: New Music Series
Fridays are all about new music and while streaming is cool, seeing it live is next level. The pool side series, dB from the Deep End will be highlighting the artists making waves in the local scene and is the perfect kick start to the weekend.
The Promoters Series
The focus then shifts to the people who work tirelessly putting on shows every night of the week. The Promoters Series will see the Boston Music Awards collaborate with previous nominees in the Promoter category to highlight their efforts and allow them to do what they do best — put on one hell of a show.
“We say this every year, but as Boston’s music scene gets stronger, we also have to look at ways to grow alongside it,” says Paul Armstrong, Boston Music Awards owner. “The Boston Music Awards are now much more than a set of awards at the end of the year. Our mission is to collaborate with as many different pockets of the scene as we can. There are so many talented artists, people, and companies in Boston; the more we work together, the better.”
Further shows will be announced later in the year, along with information about the Nomination Announcement Party and 617Sessions Wrap Up / Mix Down event.
