We’re just short of four full months into 2018, and there’s a been a healthy amount of quality music coming out of Boston this year — hell, we have an entire section to prove it. So it’s never too early to start thinking about the city’s most notable end-of-year party, the Boston Music Awards.

This morning, the BMAs — now in its 31st year — have announced the date and location for their 2018 event. This year’s party goes down at The House of Blues, the third year in a row at the Lansdowne Street venue, and is set for December 12.

To celebrate the news, the BMAs have released a teaser video for this year’s celebration, and it recaps the previous two years at HOB, including live clips from Bad Rabbits, no hope/no harm, STL GLD, Michael Christmas, Weakened Friends, The Ballroom Thieves, Air Traffic Controller, Carissa Johnson, and more.

If all this is enough to inspire you to grab tickets before anyone else, early bird passes are available here.
