Beck expands North American tour, adds much-needed Boston date

Beck headlining Boston Calling in 2015 remains a glorious experience for two reasons; one, any show that starts with “Devil’s Haircut” guarantees quality, and two, the singer/songwriter hasn’t had a Boston gig since. Three years later, the Colors singer is poised to return to Massachusetts, this time to Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on July 15, one of the stops on his new set of expanded North American tour dates.

The seven new tour dates, which span from Ontario and Montreal to Salt Lake City and Philadelphia, fill in some notable gaps in Beck’s previous slew of shows. The full tour kicks off later this month in Texas, and wraps up by late September in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale (March 23), at 10 a.m. local time, with the exception of the Madison Square Garden show, whose tickets go on sale at 12 p.m.
