You Are What You Grip: Frank Zappa seen in door knob

People see images of deity in the unlikeliest of places: Jesus on a piece of toast, the Virgin Mary in a Florida window pane, the Batman logo in a Boston dog’s ass. But it looks like a real god has finally shown his face, and it’s something we could all get a handle on.

A dude from Alabama named Patrick Mutual says his father has seen Frank Zappa in a door knob. And, because of course it is, it’s already up for sale to the highest bidder.

“My Dad sent me this text saying his door knob looks like Frank Zappa,” Mutual writes. “Please help me sell my dad’s door knob for $30,000. Like and share. Let’s get this around the world!”

That’s a reasonable price for a likeness of this magnitude. Mutual included a rather relevant Zappa quote in his post, adding: “Art is making something out of nothing and selling it.” — Frank Zappa

Zappa died in 1993 at the age of 52. Maybe he decided to wait 25 years before coming back to save us.

You be the judge.
