Editor’s Note: Every time Japanese Breakfast rolls into town, we can’t help but fire up “Everybody Wants to Love You.” Not only is it one of our most favorite songs of the past several years, but we can’t help but think of the love Boston shows back to Michelle Zauner. The Oregon musician brought her indie-pop project back to our stage last night (October 11), showing off her new album, July’s Soft Sounds from Another Planet, to a very eager and sold-out crowd at The Sinclair. Vanyaland’s Cara DiFabio was inside the Cambridge rock club to document the scene, capturing not only Zauner’s various moves and stage antics, but also those light-up shoes.
