Editor’s Note: Interpol’s Turn On The Bright Lights remains one of the more enduring and iconic albums from New York City’s early-’00s creative revival. Celebrating its 15th anniversary last month, the band has been performing the moody, atmospheric post-punk LP in full across Europe and select United States cities, and this past Saturday (September 23), returned home for a full-scale performance at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. So far, there is no Boston date on the Turn On The Bright Lights anniversary itinerary (which is too bad, really), so Ben Stas made the trek south on behalf of Vanyaland to capture Interpol in their native environment. Also on the bill were Deerhunter and Battles, and you can scan through Stas’ full gallery of all three performances below.
