Let’s be honest: Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor isn’t going to be the “Fight of the Century” — far from it. However, replace the word “fight” with “spectacle” and we’ve got a night to look forward to this Saturday (August 26), because it doesn’t matter if you’re a boxing fan, a mixed martial arts fan, or a fan of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, everyone is going to be talking about this shitshow afterward.
The only thing you need to figure out is where to watch — and this isn’t something to sit at home in Juicy’s with a bowl of popcorn. Thankfully, there are a bunch of spots across the city to view it for varying tier levels.
Cask n’ Flagon is showing it for $30, the Green Briar in Brighton is charging $40 and The Greatest Bar has some wacky $400 package for up to eight guests… and it’s somehow sold out. But if you’d rather not be in a cramped spot spending half the night queuing up to the bar for drinks, then the House of Blues is the best bet.
They are broadcasting the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight in HD on a massive 24-by-13-feet big screen in the music hall beginning at 9 p.m. Entry is $35 for the floor and upper balcony, with the first level balcony boxes going for $55. Get all the ticket info here.
