Editor's Note: Fourteen years ago last month, Amanda Palmer's Dresden Dolls shook up the Rock And Roll Rumble with a spirited and barnstorming run to the crown. Back in those days, the Rumble was held at the Middle East in Cambridge, and last night Palmer returned to the Central Square rock club with a new collaborator and longtime friend in Edward Ka-Spel of cult psych group The Legendary Pink Dots. Earlier this month, Palmer and Ka-Spel released their collaborative album, I Can Spin a Rainbow, and last night marked the start of a handful of North American dates before the duo hop the Atlantic for an extended European tour.
