On Friday (May 19), Vanyaland celebrates its 4th anniversary with a little get-together at Hojoko in the Fenway. All are welcome to join us at our favorite izakaya as raise a glass to the past, present, and future and welcome live performances by electronic-pop project Photocomfort, and the newly-formed guitar-rock supergroup no hope/no harm (featuring members of The Sheila Divine, The Field Effect, and The Good North). There will be other surprises unveiled between then and now, and there is no cover or admission fee to come party with us at this all-ages celebration.
RSVP at vanyaland.com/V4
Spotlight: Photocomfort
The Word: Justine Bowe’s debut as Photocomfort last year garnered the attention of Zane Lowe, The Guardian, Neon Gold and more. After dates alongside St. Lucia, Lewis Del Mar and Beirut, she hit the studio with producer Jon Low (The National, The War on Drugs) to write and record her most honest songs yet.
