Chance The Rapper debuted his new video for “Same Drugs” this afternoon on Facebook Live. In case you missed it, it now lives on YouTube for us all to enjoy.
The clip takes us back to the innocence of our childhood Saturday mornings, as the video finds the Boston Calling headliner sharing a grand piano session with one of the puppets from his Magnificent Coloring World Tour. The Jake Schreier-directed video might give a hint into what we could expect when Chance performs live at the 59th annual Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 12), or hey, maybe not. Either way, expect a big night from Chance, as he’s nominated for seven Grammys for last year’s Coloring Book mixtape.
Chance also posted a short video to Twitter where he describes asking tech companies if he can post his video on their platforms. Some said no! Can you believe that shit?!?!? Thankfully, it looks like Facebook Live welcomed him with open arms; watch both clips below.
