51 Proof: Nat Anglin delivers a Patriots playoff battle cry in the Brady-sampled ‘Let’s Go’

It’s said that timing is everything in digital media. So as the New England Patriots prepare to wrap up their regular season this Sunday with a Week 17 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, we may be jumping the gun in posting this new hip-hop battle cry from Massachusetts native Nat Anglin.

Sure, home field advantage throughout the American Football Conference is at stake this weekend, but Anglin’s fresh banger “Let’s Go” is no regular season jam. This shit is geared completely towards the playoffs, which for the Pats, begins in a few short weeks at Gillette Stadium.

“Let’s Go,” which you can hear below via Anglin’s Soundcloud, samples Tom Brady’s infamous call-to-arms on the Patriots sideline and blends it together with Anglin’s bars and a Chasey Peralta piano loop. Anglin knows a thing or two about Patriots victories — he and his #BosAngeles crew infamously crashed their Super Bowl XLIX party two years ago in Arizona.

And though it only dropped yesterday, the track has already infiltrated New England sports lore, as it was premiered by Rob Gronkowski’s GronkNation website. “This is surely gonna be played on the Gronk bros’ headphones when they hit the gym this holiday season,” the site writes, “or the Pats’ players as they get amped for game-time.”

Kick it off below.
