Editor’s Note: We rarely need an excuse these days to spend a weekend up in the scenic heaven that is Vermont, but add a wonderfully curated music and arts festival in the mix, and we just can’t say no. Grace Potter’s annual Grand Point North took over Waterfront Park in Burlington this past weekend (September 17 and 18), and the sold-out fest offered up a nice mix of styles and sounds reflective of the Green Mountain State and elsewhere. Vanyaland’s Cara DiFabio made the trip up north, capturing the sights from the festival grounds and a handful of the performances, including Potter, Kaleo, Blind Pilot, River Whyless, And The Kids, and others.
