Photo Gallery: Broods and Jarryd James throw down the beat at Royale in Boston

Editor’s Note: With the likes of Lorde and The Naked And Famous helping reshape the sound of electronic pop in the 2010s, there’s no denying the resurgence of New Zealand acts into the alternative mainstream. Broods, a sibling music duo composed of vocalist Georgia Nott and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Nott, are right there at the forefront. Touring sophomore album Conscious, the duo rolled into Royale in Boston last night, aided by another fresh face from far away, Australian alt-pop singer Jarryd James, who first caught our attention with soulful 2015 single “Do You Remember” and teams with Broods on new single “1000x”. The pairing makes perfect sense, so we sent Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva down to the Theatre District to capture some visual evidence. Check his full gallery below.
