Lights Out: Sleigh Bells release new track ‘Hyper Dark’, announce fall tour

Brooklyn duo Sleigh Bells are back in our lives, armed to the guitar gills with new music and a fall tour that crashes the Sinclair in Cambridge on September 13.

This morning, Derek E. Miller and Alexis Krauss dropped another new track, the follow-up to last month’s manic “Rule Number One”, and it’s a chilled out, kinda mystical jam that’ll help get the morning started. The single is called “Hyper Dark” and you can hear it below via Soundcloud, or over at Spotify or Apple Music.

To celebrate all this new music, all pointing to the band’s first LP since 2013’s Bitter Rivals, Sleigh Bells have also detailed a fall North American tour that begins next month. Included so far are stops at North Coast Festival in Chicago, Riot Fest Denver, and the aforementioned Cambridge gig. Some fine print: “A 48-hour pre-sale for these shows will begin at 10 a.m. today in all local time zones via Spotify; general on-sale begins on Friday, July 22.”
