Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry hospitalized after collapsing during Hollywood Vampires gig

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has been hospitalized after collapsing Sunday night during a Hollywood Vampires show in New York.

According to multiple outlets, including Consequence of Sound, the 65-year-old Perry was rushed to a Brooklyn hospital after performing with supergroup Hollywood Vampires at Coney Island Amphitheater. The group, which also features Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp, performed at Foxwoods on July 2.

Sunday night, however, Perry can be seen stumbling off stage during one of the band’s songs (fan-filmed video is below). After reportedly feeling ill before the show, Perry lost consciousness backstage and had to be revived by EMS.

“Thanks to everyone asking about our brother @JoePerry. He is stable right now, with family & is under the best care,” tweeted Cooper late Sunday night.

A statement via Perry’s Twitter reads similarly: “Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe. He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care.”

Hollywood Vampires’ next scheduled show is a July 12 date at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio.

More to come.
