Last month’s State Of Live Music In Boston forum drew a lively and vocal crowd to iZotope in Cambridge, and after the two-hour time allotment was up, it felt like there was still a lot to discuss. Organizers stressed that the session would serve as the launching point for additional, more detailed forums, and this morning they made good on the promise: The second State of Live Music In Boston forum is set for Tuesday, June 21, and will focus on relationships between venues and musicians.
Tech company iZotope, located at 60 Hampshire St. outside of Kendall Square, will once again serve as host. The session runs from 7 to 9 p.m., and while there is no cover, RSVP is required.
As with the debut forum, organizers Anngelle Wood and Rock Shop’s Kevin Hoskins and Steve Theo will serve as moderators. But this second discussion will feature a guest panel, including Lysten Boston’s Alyssa Spector, Aaron Gray of Grayskull Booking, Jason Trefts of the Middle East and Illegally Blind Presents, and Ryan Agate of RTT Presents and O’Brien’s Pub.
Here’s official word on the topic at hand:
