The only time washed-up rock band Puddle Of Mudd make headlines these day is when frontman Wes Scantlin does something stupid. Well, here he is getting arrested right after his band’s concert Saturday night in California.
Puddle of Mudd were playing at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, and as TMZ reports, an encore was quickly ruled out as Scantlin was put in cuffs right as he walked off stage. The website says the arrest stems from Scantlin skipping “a court hearing in a vandalism case involving a house he allegedly trashed earlier this year”, (SPIN notes it was the musician’s former home, one he lost in a 2015 foreclosure) and apparently the no-show was Scantlin’s second, forcing the judge to up the bail to $250,000.
He was locked up Saturday night and remains in custody.
Puddle of Mudd have sold more than seven million albums since debuting in the late-’90s.
