Roll The ‘Dise: Prepare for Friday by watching Savages perform ‘Adore’ on Colbert

When Savages play the Paradise Rock Club in Boston this Friday, they will arrive with two new things in their growing arsenal: an album-of-the-year contender in January sophomore effort Adore Life, and one of the very best songs of 2016 in “Adore”.

Last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the British post-punk band growled and rumbled through “Adore”, a tension-building track that begins with the dark flair of Bauhaus and explodes into a chorus that recalls some of Morrissey’s early-’90s solo work.

Needless to say, we’re obsessed with it. Watch the clip below, and don’t adjust your digital sets — the band literally disappears in a white haze at the end.
