Not A Question: Listen to Hallelujah The Hills’ anthemic new single ‘What Do The People Want’

Yesterday was Super Tuesday across our great land, a day where people generally know what they want. Boston rock gents Hallelujah The Hills celebrated accordingly, releasing “What Do The People Want, the lead track and second single from their upcoming fifth studio record, A Band Is Something To Figure Out. Listen to it via their Soundcloud below, and score a download of the track by pre-ordering the album.

A Band Is Something To Figure Out, meanwhile, is out April 12 via Discrete Pageantry Records, and a vinyl release follow in June from Re-Vinyl Records. A tour will kick off in early summer, but the band plays Great Scott in Allston for the LP’s official record release party on May 12 with Swale and Beach Toys. A book, written by British author M. Jonathan Lee about the new Hallelujah The Hills record, is expected to be released sometime next year. “I witnessed them recording an album in five days, met their families, interviewed anyone who knew them and after two live shows flew back to whence I came,” says Lee in the press release. “I’ve never felt more of a kinship and more welcomed than being with these Boston hoodlums. The book will be immense.”

Catch up on other things Jah Hills with Daniel Brockman’s interview with frontman and songwriter Ryan Walsh from back in November (we are sure some details have been updated since then, but hey, it’s still a good read).
