Yesterday, we got the Hangout Festival lineup announcement. Today, it’s Firefly Music Festival. The holiday season has come early for 2016 music festival junkies.
In what’s a spate of some of the earliest summer music festival announcement in recent memory, Firefly today announced its June 16 to 19 throwdown in The Woodlands of Dover, Delaware. Up top, we have headliners like Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5, Florence + The Machine, Kings of Leon, Ellie Goulding, the 1975, Of Monsters And Men, Tame Impala, Blink 182, Disclosure, A$AP Rocky, M83, Fetty Wap, Death Cab For Cutie, CHVRCHES, and Major Lazer.
Kings of Leon return as headliners for the second straight year, but did not play earlier this summer due to weather conditions.
On the Massachusetts front, we have some nice representation in PVRIS, Quilt, Guster, and former Bostonians Dirty Dishes. Not bad.
