Justin Bieber corrects Spanish TV audience: ‘If you’re gonna clap… at least clap on beat’

The Justin Bieber 2015 Feel Good Tour has hit a momentary snag. The singer was recently performing at a Spanish TV appearance when he stopped mid-song to teach the audience how to clap.

Around the 2:34 mark of the video below, via the NME, Bieber halted an acoustic rendition of recent hit “What Do You Mean?” by telling the crowd: “At least clap on the right notes, c’mon guys, stop stop stop stop…”

After a quick tutorial on clapping properly, he adds: “If you’re going to clap… at least clap on-beat.”

The audience was quick to redeem itself by providing a nice sing-along bit towards the end of the song.

Meanwhile, here in Boston, a Bieber mural has appeared on the side of a Jamaica Plain pizzeria to hype his upcoming album, Purpose, which drops November 13.
