Eleven years ago yesterday, Annie released her debut album, Anniemal. More than a decade on, there’s still something so enchanting about the Norwegian electro-pop singer asking us to dance with her. And that’s what she does on her new house-minded single, “Cara Mia”, another top-shelf Richard X collaboration that’s pretty-laid back but also irresistibly bubbly. The new track is the first taste off her upcoming EP, Endless Vacation, produced by Richard X and due out October 16. As the Line Of Best Fit notes, the EP will feature contributions from Jim Eliot (Kylie, Foxes), Stefan Storm (The Sound Of Arrows), and Hannah Robinson (Ladyhawke, Say Lou Lou). More music is promised for 2016, so pop some chewing gum, press play, and dance alone with Annie until the stars come out.
